Ms.Bidisha Saha with a deep-rooted passion for psychology and over 12 years of professional experience, I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals across different age groups in their mental health journeys. I completed my graduation from Bethune College and pursued a Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Calcutta. Additionally, I hold Postgraduate Diplomas in Cognitive Behavioral and Existential Counselling and Rehabilitation Psychology, both from the University of Calcutta. I have also completed a foundation course in Dance & Movement Therapy from Pradip: Centre for Autism Management, and I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Calcutta.

Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work extensively with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Intellectual Disabilities (ID). My core areas of work include early intervention therapy, functional academics, behavior therapy, parent management training and group therapy. In addition to working with children, I also specialize in supporting adolescents and young adults dealing with emotional difficulties, anxiety, depression, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

Professionally, I have been associated with the Institute of Neurosciences, Kolkata as a Consultant Psychologist, Akash Institute as a Student Psychologist and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) as a Student Counsellor. In addition to clinical practice, I’ve taught psychology at Basanti Devi College and Amity University, Kolkata, where I’ve guided and mentored aspiring mental health professionals. 

My approach integrates evidence-based therapeutic methods with empathy and creativity, aiming to support individuals across age groups in achieving emotional well-being and a better quality of life.

Md Sahidul Arefin is a highly respected Audiologist and Speech-Language Pathologist, renowned for his pioneering work in the field of communication and hearing health in India and beyond. He embarked on his professional journey with a deep commitment to serving individuals with speech, language, and hearing disorders. He earned his Bachelor in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP) and Master in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (MASLP) from the prestigious West Bengal University of Health Sciences, laying the foundation for a career dedicated to clinical excellence and academic leadership. He later attained his Doctoral award in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology, further solidifying his expertise.

He holds international fellowships and certifications in Autism Spectrum Disorder, Oral Placement Therapy (TalkTools, USA), Picture Exchange Communication System (USA), and Pre- and Post-Laryngectomy Rehabilitation (GPRA, Netherlands). These credentials empower him to offer advanced, individualized therapies using globally validated techniques.

As an acclaimed researcher and academic, he has published extensively in national and international journals, authored several books, and serves as an editor and peer reviewer for leading scientific publications. His compassionate, evidence-based approach has made a profound impact on patients, students, and the wider ASLP community.

Currently serving as the Joint Secretary of the West Bengal Branch of the Speech and Hearing Association of India, he is a vocal advocate for ethical practice, systemic reform, and inclusive healthcare policies. His dedication to mentoring the next generation of professionals and his drive to make communication health accessible have earned him numerous accolades, including the Bengal Business Samman, Bango Shrestho 2024 samman, and the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar International Award.
